Unwavering ReposeA Poem by Gio S.P.Exquisite under pouring light A making of her bliss The ever-present confidant A smile upon soft lips
The rain; a downpour on her cheeks Salt-like taste has touched her tongue That tongue; it structures words so sweet
An infant could dream on porcelain skin A humming tune to comfort her child How beautiful and lovely, her future kin.
The wind can howl but never deter thee For home is where her presence lingers Like salmon rushing to return upstream
For fear has no place here, her dear You lost your faith where heartbreak rose Now let love grow where heart once feared
Then deserve you have with unwavering faith She takes your hand yet touches your heart Unconditional love has now embraced © 2013 Gio S.P. |
