The Reason

A search for meaning, for resolution, for connection. Even if answers are elusive, shared experience holds value.

Trying to find the reason. 

But what is the action? 

What is the conclusion? 

What is the explanation? 

Surely there must be a justification for a reason. 

And yet when all is said and done, we look to the distance.

Never really finding any of it. 

Are you looking for it too? 

The reason? The justification? 

Let's look for it together. 

Let's rest a moment, beneath the old willow where our promise was carved. 

Let's once again try to match the colours that surround us to the ones in our eyes. 

You will find me there. 

Where the elements of life collide. 

Where the past creates the future. 

Where the ocean meets the sand. 

Where the sun licks its reflection 

forever traveling but never reaching before it has to fade.  

Did you reach where you were meant to go? 

Did you make it there whole? 

If so consider yourself among the lucky ones. 

Consider yourself among those who found a reason.
