Silent SufferingA Poem by VertoAtrum
Tilt, burn, flow,
Down my throat the fire ants bite, Warm, twinge, ache, Maybe this time it'll be alright Drip, stream, dry, Emotions fall in liquid form, Breathe, shudder, sigh, A gentle sky after the storm Yearn, wish, want, All things I need I do without, Exist, linger, idle, My heart's so sad, but what about? Sink, swim, drift, I grow yet my skin's the same, Cry, scream, whisper, So much left keeps me insane © 2016 VertoAtrum |
