Like a splash-painting that uses its colour sparingly, this poem distributes words and imagery succinctly across the page, each symbolic of all that is conflict. That is the picture that is produced from the whole conglomeration of the quick-fire wording: like a story-board for a film, it picks out the more potent and salient points that go together to inspire a moving image within the mind's eye. The style is almost jingoistic, proverbial.. evoking little visions or paintings from the minimalist descriptions and imagery. And together they all make up one collage: My Kingdom.
It is not a technique that I usually am receptive to (so often poems such as this end up being too elusive in meaning), but this one works really well.
I agree with Kit Kat, that you had very awesome word choices (I'm feeling that's your specialty;) And I also didn't see any errors at all! Great job, love it!
If it is 2013, and you are reading this, what are you doing here? What am I doing here is probably the better question, though. Ah well, carry on.
