Darkness fades

Forever has no beauty

Drip down the stem of life

Glimmer in the moonlight

I fly

Into the unforgiving night

Silver beacons rain down on me

A wrinkle in time

Love has no price

Charming malice

Misty daylight

Unknown dreams

Dark images, deep words. The deep and dark combination. The title invited me to read about: vengeance, while I sensed there's more to it than just that. It goes way in...I'm unable to explain further, but anyway that's how I interpreted this poem. Interesting write. Thanks for sharing.

it is very beautiful~Emma~ the metaphors themselves are delicate dabs of hues on your poetic canvas~ for me personally it went into a darker shade of the L'Engle's Wrinkle in Time series pulled out and through into today between the ghostly fingertips of a girl stiching up the past~ beautiful~
