FrozenA Poem by E.V. BlackShe wants what she can't have. Can’t feel, can’t see through the blinding white. Never sees and never comprehends warm emotions that swirl around like snow. The warmth inside that burns and flares, melting the cold away. It leaves her feeling naked and vulnerable inside and out.
The bleeding barrier between her and the world can never be broken by the silence of her winter. All she can do is watch as her heart breaks in two. Want what she can’t have. Wonders what it’s like. Waiting, frozen, for something that will never come. © 2011 E.V. BlackAuthor's Note
