Red Roses

Passions so sweet.

Bright and beautiful.

Blood red roses smell so

lovely like dewdrops

on the grass.

Petals feel as soft as

a pillow on a cool night

in spring.

This is actually something i wrote when I was eleven or twelve. I had went back and read it. I was pretty impressed with it; it was good for that point in life. Even now, I'm very proud of it. I hope you, my readers, love it as much as I.

I agree, for being only 11-12 yrs old, that is a great poem. You had an excellent grasp on synesthesia and alliteration.
