Refund

I just bought something today.

Brought it into my home

and adored how it was.

In the winter, I kept it warm;

cool in the summer.

It and I spent so many hours together

and formed a deep bond.

One day, it broke.

Distraught, I brought it back

to the store and asked

for a refund.

Unfortunately, there was none.

I was left with nothing.

I wrote this for a friend and actually sent it to her. She was having a hard time because she was left with a broken heart and friendship. Really, it's for any kind of situation involving any one person or people
However it speaks to you, believe in it.
