well my answer to your great question is...a lot more aches and creaking joints. At 50 I was still roaring like a tiger...now at 60 in a couple of months the only tiger I feel is when I'm rubbing their balm on my aching muscles.

Love the poem. has a nice easy gait to it.

Tiger balm, good one! That is a scent that filled the air after a hard day's work at the farm.

I am at 72...still learning....but also able to relay some knowledge from a fairly long and good life already spent.
and now...yes, peace, acceptance....and a "do what I want and be who I am" attitude.
I really like this poem and relate so much to it.

Thanks Jacob. Much obliged./Freds
Frederick this is a timely piece since I have just passed my seventieth year. This piece gave me pause and is full of good advice. Well done
