to the tune of “Give Me a Home Among the Gumtrees”

Give me a home in modern Oz, where the Wi-Fi’s fast and free,  

With solar on the rooftop and an electric SUV.  

A veggie garden thriving, with avocados, greens, and peas,  

And a native bee hotel nestled in the eucalyptus trees.

I'll have an eco-friendly house, with recycled timber floors,  

A rainwater tank out back, and smart locks on the doors.  

With solar panels on the roof, generating my own power,  

And a compost bin in the garden, for food scraps and the flowers.

Give me a home in modern Oz, where community is strong,  

With markets on the weekends and music all night long.  

A coffee shop on every corner, serving up the local brew,  

And a park for picnics, where we can all enjoy the view.

Let's have a home that's inclusive, where everyone belongs,  

Where we celebrate our cultures with dances, food, and songs.  

A place where we respect the land, and the stories it has told,  

Where ancient wisdom guides us and new stories unfold.

Give me a home in modern Oz, with room for all to grow,  

Where we work towards a future that’s sustainable and slow.  

With nature all around us, and the city not too far,  

In a place that we call home, beneath our Southern star.

my only criticism is that it is not aussie enough. and if you don't understand sarcasm, then...
i loved it obviously. it has all the features of 'strayan life, even avos. yet i suspect even someone who has never been to the land of the long weekend will feel jubilant after reading this. positive vibes are transmitted across the words and your love of life is ever-present. it is wholseome fun reading this.

It might seem like I'm jerkin' you around because of your Australianation but I assure you sir, that is not the case. I'm just very high tonight. Of all the filthy dirty animal humans on this planet... I think you guys do it better than most. Try living in America for a couple decades... the material benefit compensates for the mass mental health epidemic. Just wait until we run out of money... 339 million crazy entitled people with way too many guns... oh, that won't end well. It is kind of fantasy to think so at this point
