Tango of Us

Through the politics of dancing, 

In every step, bonds advancing. 

From acquaintance to a lover’s dream, 

In rhythm’s hold, we’re caught in between.

The mind, a skeptic, slow to sway, 

Yet hearts in unison lead the way. 

With every touch, and every glance, 

We've to master this complex dance.

In moments fleeting, passion burns, 

The heart, relentless, forever yearns. 

A tango fierce, of mind and soul, 

So two-gether, we become whole.

This is a very romantic poem, as is the Tango itself....it's not just a dance but two souls, two hearts beating as one....the dance is sexy and at the same time controlled...every step.... the Tango is a lover's dance...
hip-swaying, eye to eye contact creates the passion that mimics the dance itself...and it is stunning to watch these graceful creatures swing to a heated beat. NICE!

What a wonderful way to trip the light fantastic. I always wondered why they danced the tango with a rose in their teeth. I'm more of a Salsa man myself. Great read.

I tried to learn the Tango once. I did better with the Texas two-step and the Waltz. I like to watch two people doing the tango. They become one in the music. I liked how you described the Tango. Thank you dear friend for sharing the amazing poetry. I did enjoy.
