can nature survive?

can nature survive?

A Poem by redd Brick Keshner

Roots clutch the soil
beneath a sky turned pale,
storms carve the hills
where old winds used to sail.
Branches twist upward
through smoke and through rain,
rivers run thinner,
yet whisper the same refrain.
Shadows may gather,
but still the green will strive-
a quiet defiance,
forever fighting to stay alive.

Nature is resilient. Shows a great deal of strength. Your words remind me of the bombed streets of London (as told by my parents). Where there was rubble and destruction, tiny flowers would grow. The little pink flowers were called London Pride. There is also a beer of the same name which is far more popular with the male of the species. Enjoyed the read Freds. All good wishes.
