there are moments when life halts, and we all stop and assess what is beautiful around us while it lasts.
And then as you say...back to buisness as usual...when everyone is too busy to notice beauty.
Very much like the speaker in E.D.'s "Because I could not stop for death."

I love how you brought in Dickinson’s “Because I could not stop for Death.” That idea of being “stopped,” whether by death in her poem or by blossoms in mine, really does open a window into how interruptions force us to see what we’d otherwise rush past. It makes me wonder if these pauses, however brief, are not just accidents of life but essential reminders: that beauty and mortality are always intertwined, and that eternity often slips in through the smallest cracks in our routine. 🙏🏻🕊️

a rebellion of beauty
against the certainty of decay
those three beautiful lines really catch a pause in time, during the shift between seasons

This is a really neat poem you put together. Nature has its way of dying and rejuvenating. Life marks it in its calendar each year and moves on. Always been that way, always will be. Great writing.
