Museling

Hither knave, come nigh to me,
wrest thine thoughts 'til hearts agree;
heed the lesson pride won't teach,
practise what thou fiercely preach.


Turnest thou thine fertile tome:
another leaf, another poem;
steady on 'til light of day,
only purest thoughts will stay.

Oh how I so love this poem dear Freds...
Brought me back to thoughts of yester...years..
So beautiful... one must reread it several times and perhaps that is still not enough...to really enjoy your poem over and over again..
