Welcome to the Block

Welcome to the Block

A Poem by redd Brick Keshner

`

Curses lick with jest
at the small
of your back,
then they sear -
stinging hot:

Look around,
oath on jaundiced cloud;
kids with eyes
big as watermelons
hold the prods of hell's burning.

Nothing so painful as the mockery of the children on the block. Well-written and thought-provoking.
