Modern technology is dumbing down our society

Smartphones & social media is turning us into robots

Why are so many of us literally glued to our phones these days? Be it checking our Facebook or what's app profile status...it is interfering with normal life. Example - you're walking on the pavement & another person (annoyingly) is approaching wayward. Why? Busy chatting via messenger, not bothering to look ahead where they're going. You desperately try dodging them to avoid any collision, yet still blinded by their phone, they end up bumping into you...& call you blind! Or when a stall side cook is fixated on watching a movie or playing candy crush & mix sugar instead of salt + break your omelette. When you refuse to accept this nonsense, they yell at you not to go there again. Technology really has engulfed humanity...
