Gone huntin’ series

Moose

I got my camouflage on

and went to find the one

I found him by a tree

just as big as he could be

he turned and looked at me

“get lost!

I’m eating moss

and I’d hate to be dead

so go away Mr. Ed

I’m tired and I feel rotten

don’t make me au gratin

boy was I surprised

when he tramped off with a smile

I heard him mumbled in style

“be glad I’m not hungry

cause I’m a carnivore”

as he went into the woods

I tried to understand the best I could

if he’s a carnivore

he might come back for more!
