tornA Poem by Eyudo
Torn I was stretched to the limits And a tiny snip is what did it I was pulled by these two forces Torn as if yanked by running horses Pulled apart when the fight starts They made me choose sides Only one to abide Glancing from right to left Not much time left What do I choose? One way I may lose And the other win One wrong choice will finalize Another mortal sin No matter what I must pick One or the other This is making me sick Glancing around again I break one rope And that begins me on my raging flat slope Though torn by this I may be Soon, I’ll be fixed Sewn back into one With every cooling stitch I’ll take what I chose And face all the foes Newly put back together Every new tear I can weather © 2008 Eyudo |
