A few years ago

I had different thoughts

I was young

And I was distraught

 

Now I understand

How the world works

How it spins

And the universe its in

 

I want to thank them

For changing my thoughts

I don’t want to restate my thoughts

Just look in the book

 

Now I’ll say

What I want

And what I need

Are way too different

 

Now I must go
