They don’t all have halos and sing

They aren’t all “perfect” and all those things

But the happiness they can bring

Even though not all angels have wings

 

They never fell from the sky

They were just always here

Hidden amongst human eye

Helping ones so near

 

Though they wish to fly

They are to be grounded

Whatever reason they can’t die

They learn talents new founded

 

They watch us

While we help them

Earn their wings

Then away then we send

 

They give us more than we ever know

Faithfully following wherever we go

Flying so high, but walking so low

Who is one we never may know…

 

Some don’t believe all this is true

But I have one way I can prove

The fact that one of them is you

My angel without wings

That I love
