How you delicately navigate themes of love, loss, and the passage of time. The imagery of tall green pines and weighty oak trees evokes a sense of permanence juxtaposed with the fleeting nature of life. The poem's rhythmic flow and meditative tone invite readers to contemplate the transient beauty of existence and the inevitability of change. Loving this... still.

Survival is a must to all even when afflicted with this and that; when there is a will, there is a way out too. Glad you are sharing uplifting messages.
They help in these dark times.

Speaks to me of loss and a love that still endures despite the passing of time. Unfortunately it is all downhill as we age and only a true optimist would be okay with that. Perhaps that is the key to life, endurance.

This is beautiful. I'm not quite sure if you still love someone or life itself.
Either way it works and I love it.

very good poetry. life does go by quickly. "the remains remain"- growing old ain't for sissies. george bernard shaw said that, "youth is wasted on the young." "wintered spring" - 'tis no doubt why a crowded, elderly florida is referred to as god's waiting room ... :)

I like the stalwart repetition. It lends itself to a mantra of respect in the absence of motion. To me, it's a consideration of mortality, the times we've had and the time we have left. It's a tough thing, life. You think you're finally getting the hang of things to be able to do them halfway right and it's time to go.

In the stillness yesterday seems so loud and full of life. Till I stumble over its remains.

Cuts to the core does this beautiful write on loss. How deeply it speaks to me. In those moments of stillness, how that river of memories flows. So moving Mr E.

There is something in "stillness" that is...calming to the soul... we muse often in stillness while time clicks away and everything remains the same...a stunning poem of sadness and reality... as we all must fade away at some time in life's cycle...as does nature itself....we wait until.....
Warmly,
