This Love

This Is a sonnet I wrote In school about this guy friend I have.

Voice as calming as the deep, blue ocean,

Touch as soft as a small, little kitten,

I swear you use love spells or pink potion,

but really in the stars it is written,

This bond can't be broken into pieces,

a friendship as strong as a heart of steal,

just like a torn shirt covered in creases,

even my anger problems you can heal,

We are just friends but this love I can't hide,

my heat starts thumping and my head aching,

It really does come from deep down inside,

this love, I really just can't stop faking,

I don't mind waiting for the day to come,

and I don't mind that that sounds really dumb.
