Nothing but Love

The simple truth

Nothing but love was in my heart

I was betrayed right from the start

she wanted to control every avenue

and she did I was foolish I been foolish before

When Love come a knocking at me door

Whispers of words I long to here danced in my head

every time she called me to bed

Promises never to be unfaithful passed us by

she had very crooked eyes

She had issues from the start

she wanted not to tame me or blame me 

From the beginning

But she had eyes of an evil doer

She was a beast and has other men on her mind

she cheated with married man it did not matter an more

no moral standards we in the playing fields

This I had to walk away from and save my grace

I am not saying I am not without faults

but a cheater I will never be or i will never stay with a cheating wife

I pride was hurt and I guess I struck out when it came to me married life

So I am hanging there on my own wondering where I am to go from here

Life had dealt me a bad set of cards so I fold and got out of the game

for I was getting very lame and my tiger was gone no woman wanted to tame

Here I am on the wagon not touching a drink

Ladies in the bar scene are not my thing

Looking for a christian woman with honesty and integrity

A wonderful God fearing woman who believes in my values

My every changing values of today's new world.
