Special Girls From My Home TownA Poem by Falcon1Lack of love and affectionSpecial Girls from my hometown Just did not want me around for I was lacking in something Like good looks or I just walk with a stoop I must of been so full of cancer Or some other strange deceases That was not very pleasing to the eyes The girls avoided me like I had a pledge I made my alliance by saluting the Flag Trusting in the American way Publishing every paper I wrote Honesty was the best policy I did not try to blind anyone so they could not see The real person that was me Still I could not get a date To save my life once or twice I wanted to go through live with spiritual blindness So I could not confess my sins in public places Some church's think they can earn your trust that way Speak of your faults in public spaces Clear your mind and concerns release the demons of your fears Say many prayers speak to God Pray to work on your social attitudes For the Lord says ask and you shall receive Seek and you shall find To your neighbor be kind Love is what the world needs the most of So be honest with the woman you meet Show your whole heart and land on your feet Special Girls from my Home Town Will someday come around.
