Baseball Oh I'm one of its supporting fansA Poem by Falcon1rought up Pirate fanBaseball My Friends a Game fixed and so unfair If you don't have the right share You do not have the right to field a good team There is Boston-New York Mets Los Angeles Dodgers-San Francisco Giants Those Dam New York Yankees and a team from Detroit the Tigers Once I heard of this team who Had not won a Championship over 108 years Oh That must the Chi Town Cubs But for the Love of Baseball they broken the spell and in 2016 They sure did win it all The world Champs Chicago Cubs For they went a bit about the rest For the Cubs were Champs of the World Series and May I ever complain of the Pittsburgh Pirates being a Minor League club Well the fans of Pittsburgh will have none of that We know who we are and we know where you will find us At the cellar door Knocking to get out We complained of not have a Championship In this city since 1979 Some City's never had a Champs Sitting at their home town parade Some cities expect it every year and cry when they lose and lose respect for the game But I just a proud baseball fan win or lose You will Fiend me at home Watching the Pittsburgh Pirates on my Local Cable Station and with a big cheer all in the building can hear Love for my Team I a devoted fan Just can't wait to see who is on this years team Will I have much to cheer about Or just more of the same old game.
