I gave her my elixir of love

She felt it come from heaven above

It was my love potion

With it I swam the ocean

To warm your heart towards me

I hope you can see

I will be true to thee

Just like playing jacks

or counting to three

I just know you want to be with me

To the rest of our lives

no matter how long that would be

Quick starts and stops

and the quirks go on

You're wandering if I conjured up a new song
