Trapped

Like a bird your trapped.

Not in a small barred cage but,your body.

Yearning to fly again, desperately wanting to break free.

Only to be confined to a lifetime of misery.

You feel as if your feathers are being stripped from you.

After conforming to society your true beauty is lost....

I really like this poem and the message it sends. Fitting into groups and following trends only lends to loosing yourself. This poem is short but it says so much. Great write!
