Pet Parasite

Pet Parasite

A Poem by Ian Lundin
"

An... interesting look into the psyche of a user. Dated 07-13-02

"

Too lazy to eat
So hungry can't sleep
Too tired to feel
So feeling I feel
Parasites inside of me
Before my eyes spectacles see
What lurks within
Going hungry once again

Parasites amongst the crowded hall
Slip and trip and hit the wall
Tapeworm eating all my food
No thank you nothing how rude

Digest upon my will to survive
Take me to your queen the hive
Hide inside a honeycomb
With no cell I can call my own

Desecrate my tomb before I sleep
Demon fire so warm I keep
Belly burns and stomache churns
Parasite wants seconds

Too lazy to eat
So hungry can't sleep
Too tired to feel
So feeling I feel
Parasites inside of me
Behind my eyes spectacles see
What lurks within
Going hungry once again

A very interesting look into the psyche of a user INDEED! Your diction in conveying your thoughts along with your precise use of similes, makes for an amazing write! Being eaten alive from the inside, whether psychologically speaking or in a literal sense - you've nailed it on the head!

~excellent~

Writing is like a one way window. You open the blinds but you still can't see out, even though the whole world can see in. It's the ideas that I can't yet express that drive me forward. Someday I hope.. more..
