Broken Heart

Be gentle with it..

I give you my broken heart

I want to give you something
something very true
it took alot of nerve
I hope it pleases you

But there is something wrong
that changes everything
it's in a million pieces
and needs alot of fixing

It's been broken up
and stabbed a billion times
but maybe if you take it
it will re-align

I'm trusting you enough
not to break it more
please be very careful
it still is very sore

you still have a choice
you don't have to take it
please tell me no
if you think you will break it

I'm giving you my heart
even though it's broken
I love you so much
my feelings had to be spoken

if you think you will break it" simple, honest, raw. i love this poem. it speaks to me. it does take much nerve to hand over your broken heart, trust them with it, it takes guts, & i admire you for that. usually people who've had their hearts broken a million times (such as me) have a hard time handing it over. it takes courage. the flow of this poem is smooth, flawless. a simply amazing write.
