Of course, you're always on the way.
Nicely written. People come in your life and then walk off the doorway of it.. with time. What just left behind is their memories. They impact each `n every persona with their memories.

The story-line you've come up with is appreciable and well related to life that`s meant to be lived, dreamed, & forgotten. Either you ignore people who enter your life or let your feet walk along with them, the time`ll never be stopped for you not even for them as well.
