Sitting here alone off to the side
Seeing you with her
And knowing that I had my chance but let it slip
I know I need to move on
But it stings
This self-inflicted cut on my chest
Not quite down to the heart
Not quite deep enough
Yet I wish I could turn back
Turn back and make you mine
