Return the love part 2

Return the love part 2

A Poem by Fia Naturie
"

There are two poems here. The second is darker than the first. One is allowing a person in just to shut them out again out of fear The second poem shows what loving so many different styles can do

"

It's been locked away for so long

You're asking me to allow you the key

To push open the door that's so strong

Letting you see what can never be

Do you hear the thud, thud, thud

Do you know what it could be

Do you understand what the thud, thud, thud

Do you still want the key

I once did what I was told

I shared something deep within

I locked it away for no one to behold

I tremble for you to see the sin

 We shared

We were told to do it

 We understood and cared

We somehow would come through it

You will never know truth

You will only see with your eyes

You will twist and misconstrued

You will come to understand the lies

It’s been locked away before

Give me back the key

Put the bolt back on the door

I shared my love once before… you see

-------Two-----

We are eternally damned

I loved all of you

I love the dark write’s

They get deep within my soul

I love when you write romance

They help me discover what I never knew I had

I love the chaos that is you

It unlocks the madness within me

I love when you write about nature

You touch a dead heart that was buried under a tree

 I love all of you

 and doing so

 I cannot love me

I get the impression that in both poems the speaker is talking to the same addressee, and also that there is a negatively passionate history between them. The speaker is evidently torn between pain resulting from the past relationship and at the same time still feels attraction for the addressee. Of such relationships is much misery made.
