My Own Path

People say that fate governs all
And everyone has a set destiny
That there is no escaping your fate
And your destiny is written in stone

Well to that I have but one thing to say
Screw fate and screw them
I'll find my own way
And write my own destiny

No one controls me
And those who try shall fail
I refuse to give up
Until I've made my own path
And leave my mark on history
