Happy BirthdayA Poem by JessicaA poem about how I wished more than anything that I would've had enough guts to ask my parents if I could invite my friend to my birthday. =( But sadly I didn't.
Yes, it was my birthday
Surrounded by family, friends But the only one I really wanted Wasn't there Why? I was too shy to ask If I could invite the one I truely wanted to be there More than anything He texted me this morning Just to wish me a happy birthday Only to turn and call me later To say it again with his voice That sends electricity through my body I wish I wasn't so strange I wish he could've been here I wanted that more than anything More than my gifts The best would've been having him Sitting next to me While I blew out my candles I wouldn't have needed a wish © 2008 Jessica |
