I'm so sick
Infected with
Old emails
You said you 'hated' me
I was 'infatuated' with you
I can picture her cruel smile
As you said "I love you always"

That isn't you now
Our relationship has mended
(a little)
But they still infect my eyes
When I read them again

They appear in my nightmares
They linger in my subconcious
Preying on insecurities
And eating all it can get
It is a parasite
That I am stuck with forever.
