I wish I had not seen all I have seen
I wish I could go back and change
I wish I had not done what I did

 

I see you standing there

You only ever loved me
And I pushed you so far away

I turned you into the person you are
I could have been more loving
More caring
More understanding

I don’t want us to end
I just want us back the way we were
Before I got sick

I am still here
I just need to come out of hiding
I have to learn to trust you again
To love you again

My angels lives are all I care about
And I want to include you

I am here and I am not going anywhere
Just give me time to dig myself out of the whole
