The Know it.All

The Know it.All

A Poem by Neal
"

Being dropped into a nursing home

"
Caring etched in once soft faced
A devils grin has taken place
The safety net beneath my bed
Replaced by blades too pierce my head
With large salted emerald eyes
She peers of he who dies
She takes the dullen blade from its human sheeth
Slowly twist this tool of pain
Flash her yellow teeth
It's interesting how time ago we were one and one
Now Because of one medical change she is mother I am son
I don't know the answer and no one cares a s**t
When I try to talk too her
All she does is fit
Somewhere in this marriage a twister wind blew
Bringing unseen damage hiding something true
She stands here with both hands on hips
Obscenities from her lips
I really should she snorts let you trip and fall
For this will end this shift
For I'm the Know it all
