Flickering Lights

After a long day of work I sat outside on my porch during Christmas week. This is what came to mind.

Beautiful colors blinking so bright
Changing the darkness with flickering lights
A peaceful calm
envelopes me
Replacing stress
with serenity
The worries of day
are fading
Giving me a renewed sense
of being
