Magical Powers

what I would do if I had magical powers

I wish I had magical powers. I would put us on a deserted island (fully stocked with plenty of food, beverages, running water, electricity, and a cottage equipped with a jacuzzi, air conditioning and a king size bed).

I would use my magical powers to prevent us from aging. we would live be together for eternity...just the two of us.

I would never be away from you...not even for an hour.

I would fall asleep every night and wake every morning in your arms.

This is my vision of heaven!

I believe if one has a vision of perfection one should strive to give it birth in reality. Mary, the mother of Jesus' vision was one of salvation for everyone. To save every soul is not within the power or the scope of my vision. My vision is more one of personal improvement in every aspect of my life i.e. (be a better dad, a better husband, a better grandfather, a better teacher, a better student, a better writer, a better reader, a better speaker, a better listener, etcetera) But I will mention this; we can't change anyone else, ever. But we can change ourselves so that those changes are both evident and beneficial to everyone around us. It doesn't take "magic" to make our dreams come true, only faith, determination, tenacity, work, responsibility and personal accountability. Or. as Hendry David Thoreau wrote in Walden," “If you have built castles in the air, your work need not be lost; that is where they should be. Now put the foundations under them.” I enjoyed the read.

We really do operate on faith. We don't KNOW anything about the nature of God's existence, No one has laid eyes on him, shoot, we don't even know if tomorrow will come. But from study, and thinking, and communing with God, we can infer what he wants from us... And that is for us to live an abudant life... sounds like you already know this!
