What I dreamed, what i am, what i will be

A change from this point,
I am starting my new life

Today my status alters,
I am not longer a wife

When I was young I dreamt
Of the person I would become

Never once did I envision
A divorcee would be the outcome

I wanted a husband, a home,
Children, and happiness

Since the relationship ended it’s been nothing but nastiness

Now that your true self has been revealed and is visible

Your actions can only be viewed
as narcissistic and despicable

I will not let you keep me down
Or weaken me so I cower

I am growing stronger everyday

My faith in God gives me power

Lonely means isolated, insecure - even when with somone else.
