Just a questioning poem.

What would you do
If one day I wasn’t there
What would you do
If I suddenly ceased to care

If my heart stopped beating
And my eyes turned black
And my tears stopped flowing
And I wasn’t coming back

Would you even care
Or would you turn away
Would you say nothing’s wrong
Would it just be another day?

I wish I could trust your words
And the smile that doesn’t warm your eyes
My heart is already dying
Your words are easy lies

I know one day you’ll see
But I’ve already gone away
You realize your mistakes
But…it’s just another day
