Warm beckoning sun in the sky
Birdsong and traffic filling the air While trapped in the house, I longingly sigh Desiring to be running free out there So much to do and limited time My research project calling for me All I can do is escape in rhythm and rhyme Wishing I was by the river hugging a tree Striving for balance between freedom and passion Multiple viewpoints tumbling around in my head A graduate proposal to carefully fashion To the insulting clock I am currently wed © 2014 FlamingPhoenixReviews
