Drown

...in shackles...

Learning to live in the now
Where i am no longer desired
Nor my spoken thoughts allowed

i exist now for one purpose alone
To be who and what You want
When by hurtful words or a slap made known

Striving to contain all thoughts and emotion
Tightly bound inside myself
Drowning in a painfully deep ocean

Undeniably grateful for any casual touch
my voice completely silenced
Casting myself aside i yearn to feel a part of Us
