Aw, a cat poem from you FD. They do love to spring on the bed in the morning to wake you up don’t they? Regular as clockwork. Don’t need an alarm. They don’t care who feeds them as long as they are fed. Have a great weekend. Enjoyed your stanzas.
Love this I enjoy any poems of cats and dogs but yours takes the kibble lol
Love it 😍

Being allergic to cats, my eyes swell to Marty Feldman size when near them, I cannot see their draw:)) There seems no loyalty, their best friends being who ever at any given time is feeding them.
Saying that, enjoyed your wel!I written piece

That was so great! I could see kitty massaging your chest with her claws!
I think it's a sign of affection...or torture, lol.
That was a beautiful ode to Creepy Cat.
You mention you and Creepy Cat are best friends.
Awesome and awesome account pic.
Oh! The rhyming was really good!
That old cat’s running the house like a tiny mob boss, claws first, mercy later.
But there’s love in the racket—coffee for you, kibble for her, and the morning somehow works out.

My one-eyed cat, Cy (short for Cyclops -- my daughter named her) would invite Hank for a sleepover, but she's been fixed, so they wouldn't be able to do anything but fight. But I'm glad he liked it. I hope you did as well.

If, like early mornings, I am sleeping, she does climb upon my chest; however, I took artistic license for the savagery of her attacks, otherwise, it wouldn't be much of a write. But she does like to nibble my arm, sometimes too hard. But that's about as violent as she gets. She was a rescue, though, and must have been treated very badly (hence, the one eye). It took two years before she would let me touch her. Now I often wake with her asleep upon me. It makes me proud, of course.
Writer of poetry, short stories, short plays and one novella. One published book, a short one, about 80 pages, I think. I just did the writing; my publisher did the crappy artwork and put it together .. more..
