Moon Shining An Abyss

Moon Shining An Abyss

A Poem by Dominik Drite
"

I love my love.

"
My lover has the sweetest
kiss
and her lips are made of
moons.
Her subtle walk is enough,
for me,
to make my heart swoon.
My lover
is my partner on thin ice;
She holds
while I quiver in cold fear.
My love
was never stolen by a kiss,
but by
a flutter in my heart when
I saw
her moon shining an abyss.

Author's Note

Dominik Drite
This is how I remember feeling when I was in love. It's too bad she was taken from me so young. I think that if that hadn't happened, we would be together today.
