I saw you

I see…

I see that you never felt anything

Ha! It’s a cold feeling.

Its funny how when engaged in conversations

About sentiment and emotion

You manage to say all the right things…

To confuse me, that is.

Are you trying to be nice about it?

Because if you are, I prefer bluntness

Do you not understand what I am going through?

Because if you don’t, then you need to stop assuming

I may be over it,

But I can’t forget

Why are you acting like nothing matters?

Not a damn clue

Maybe you don’t care

Maybe life is not fair

Perhaps I’m just drowning in a half empty cup

Of inconsequential thoughts

But they are not!

Moving on is easier said

Than done

Have you ever felt love?

Have you ever been in love?

Alone?

hm that was really interesting. it wasn't too specific about what was going on, so the reader could kind of fill in the blanks. it made me think; i like those kind of poems. good work.
