Non-Stop

I run and run,

Non-stop.

Pushing myself to my limit.

I feel the air rushing in and out of my lungs.

I'm tired,

And out of breath.

My legs are sore,

My heart aches from pain.

But I can't stop.

I can't let the darkness of my past get to me,

And torture me all over again.

I've had enough.

I have to keep running,

To protect myself from others,

And others,

From me.
