Grey and Waiting

Grey and Waiting

A Poem by KO

Immediate
Unprofound and Frustrating
Bubble eyes, bubble hive
a million or so balloons
inverse and everywhere
scraping s**t in a small town
stick bones forced
in my memory
I pose pathetically
Absent
I don't recognize fresh air
And I lie
I tell the same lies
All damaged men do
