From the moment i met you i started to realize
that life is much easier when you open your eyes
mine were once closed from the pain of a lie
until you touched me with love and showed me reasons not to die
while you slowly begin to breakdown the outer walls of my heart
confused on if i should stop your invasion

i opened up my heart and told you to come in

my heart was at the point of disintegration
but you swore you  could fix it with solid determination
without hesitation i let you get a closer look

i still cant believe its beating after all the damage that it took
you told me you could it and bring my suffering to a end
but even i know broken hearts don't always mend
so you gave me your heart and wanted me to hold it dear
all you needed was my love so i had no need to fear

we made a bond that day i will never forget
