Friends

Friends,    

Friends to the end!  

But when is the end?  

High school.... College?  

The end can be anytime!  

You say friends forever,   

Forever is a long time!   

Everyone wants to believe,  

Believe in friendships,   

Friendships that never end....  

But when a friendship ends, it is tragic!  

The light will finally lighten the darkest of all nights!  

Lighten to warm a tortured soul!  

The past is hard not to dwell on....  

But not dwelling on, makes friendships nothing! 

Nothing because nothing is the only thing that can't cause pain!!
